West Malvern Music Session

The session has been held every Sunday evening in West Malvern since mid-1996. The atmosphere is friendly and tolerant, and acoustic music of all kinds and standards is encouraged (electric music is also fine, as long as it's discreet). Unlike some other music sessions, there is no-one conducting events, and the evening can include anything vaguely musical, but mostly we have Irish music, jazz, blues, pop, singing/chanting, drumming, banging on your table, spontaneous improvisation (this is fun, but it doesn't happen every week), abortive attempts to play something in public for the first time (but who cares, try again next week), or we might even have a break and chat to each other.
